Awareness

Awareness games

Get a difficult message across by letting people experience it first-hand.

The idea

What is it, in practice?

When you need to get a difficult message across (safety, CSR, inclusion), a game leaves a deeper mark than a speech. It lets people experience the issue from the inside.

On topics such as safety, CSR or inclusion, top-down messaging often slides off without sinking in. A game takes the opposite route: it lets people live the situation, feel the consequences, and draw the lesson for themselves.

That involvement creates an emotional memory: we remember what we have lived and felt. The format is short and accessible, and works well at events or as part of internal campaigns.

In practice

How it works

01

Pin down the message

We clarify the idea to get across and the shift in thinking or behaviour you are after.

02

Come up with the game concept

We design a short game that lets people experience the issue rather than be told about it.

03

Build the game

We develop an experience anyone can pick up, with no prior knowledge or learning curve.

04

Adapt it for distribution

The game is adapted to where it will be played: at an event, on a work computer, on mobile.

Use cases

When should you use it?

  • Raise awareness of health and safety
  • Champion a CSR or ethics topic
  • Make a lasting impression at an event
